EV Mae

A case of six degrees of separation, I just learned about EV Mae from southern Indiana. She is another artist who is part of the Clarksville Creative Sound family. (I have already profiled Jadyn Rylee and Brayden Ryle). Below are facts I have compiled from her website and other sources.
Singer, songwriter, guitarist, EV has wanted to perform since she was 9. Her interest in country music was inspired by her parents and her influences include Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and George Jones; and current artists like Zach Bryan and Tyler Childers. Her goal is to create her own unique blend of Americana and classic country.
EV Mae performs acoustically and with a full band, The Tune Trashers. Her favorite performance was the first time on stage at the Lincoln Amphitheater when she was 13. She opened to a crowd of 1,500 for a Beatles tribute band and “loved the energy of the crowd and the entire experience.”
I listened to several songs on her Spotify account. I have to be honest, I didn't used to be a big fan of country music until I had the chance to be part of the crew of a talented teen country and gospel from Indianapolis and another from Shelbyville. Neither currently are pursuing their musical dreams. The opportunities to be discovered weren't as plentiful as today. I have to say I really enjoyed listening to EV's music, both the solo acoustic and with her band.
EV has a good mix of upbeat songs and melancholy ballads. I believe all the songs on Spotify are her original compositions.
