From YouTube - Mia Morris is an alt-pop singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She's released over 40 original songs, has over 400K followers across all platforms, and has played hundreds of shows including opening for Collective Soul and Candlebox in 2023.

Mia was born in Indianapolis and lived here through sixth grade. She began taking drum lessons and one of her instructors just happened to be the drummer for Collective Soul, Johnny Rabb. What an honor. In 2023, she opened for Collective Soul.

“He took the time to give me drum lessons over the years and he also took the time to talk with me and my father all about the Nashville music scene where he had previously lived and worked,” Mia wrote in her YouTube bio.

Mia is 19 years old and a professional musician, songwriter & artist now based out of Nashville. While she plays lots of instruments she is hired mostly to play drums, cajon and bass. She has written quite a few originals.

Mia has been posting music related videos on YouTube since she was 9 years old and began playing professionally at 14. Her videos include originals with a lot of creativity. She also has a music business vlog.

Mia performed her original "Gone My Way" for her 2022 AGT audition. 

One unique thing I noticed right away is that often Mia stands to drum. I think the first time I saw her was for an AGT audition in 2022. She may have been on more than once. It was disappointing that someone with such raw, original talent lost to … a pole dancer. I sometimes think it's more about who can tell the best sob story than it is the talent.
